This site may be used if you have received an invoice from the Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) which indicates that it can be paid by credit card. You can also use this site to request a license certification/clearance letter. To use this site, you will need several items:

  • A valid Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card
  • The number(s) of the invoice(s) that you want to pay
  • Your CID license number, or NAIC number if you are an insurance company.
A receipt can be obtained by printing the final confirmation page. Thank you for using CID's online payment portal.
